  As solid as it gets!  Pepe el Tore is absolutely nothing to look at from the outside!  In fact there are bars on the windows!  BTW, it's not a grocery like is quite prevalent these days, but it does have a small grocery area and fantastic hot dishes as well!
  
  Brush up on your Spanish as they struggle to understand much English.  That's actually a good thing as typically that means you're getting some really authentic grub!  Sampling their Asada, Carnitas, Pastor, and verde/red sauces I was completely caught off guard!  In a good way!  I expected slightly above decent, but what I got was fantastic!  The meats were packed into these homemade tasting tortillas!  There was no fatty chunks to any of the three meats, and the asada had a nice outer char that had me bewildered!  The verde sauce is easily one of the best I ever had, and topping the tacos with it just made the experience greater!
  
  It's those little hole in the wall places that will jump up and get you....every single time!
